A Top Cancer Fighter

The bright yellow spice known as turmeric is both an antioxidant and anti-inflammatory. So already there are two great qualities. Now, in addition, turmeric is believed to attack the core pathways that allow cancer cells to develop.

Not sure how to incorporate it into your diet on a regular basis? An easy way to sneak some of this bright yellow spice into your life is by adding a pinch to stir fries, sauces and soups – you won’t even taste it! If you are a bigger fan of turmeric, well then your options are much more broad. My personal favorite is sprinkling turmeric (and cumin) on scrambled eggs. Whatever you choose – start adding it to meals today to reap some of the very healthy benefits!

  1. I have turmeric and honestly have only used a few times (can’t recall) but adding it to eggs sounds wonderful. I am always looking for new ways to spice up eggs…will give it a try.

Hope you have a great day and a less busy one than yesterday!!! :)

    xoxo!

  2. I’ve heard wonderful things about turmeric, and this just confirms it all the more! I love the eggs tip, will have to try. (I love to add a bit to my pseudo paella, along with saffron and paprika.) Now I’m inspired to replenish my supplies :)
